Send A Test SMS

The Send Test feature in the application is crucial for ensuring that your communications are accurate, effective, and error-free before being sent to your entire audience. This feature lets you preview and validate SMS, messages, or notifications by sending a test version to yourself.

Click on the “Send Test SMS” from the create / edit template or from the template preview as shown in the image below.

Provide the values for all the configured merge tag fields and click on the generate button. The system will generate the URL for the standard links, I.e., Unsubscribed links, as shown in the Image below

Now, click on the “Send” button, the system will provide an information message that the “SMS is processed successfully. Please click here for the delivery status” as shown below

To view the delivery status, the user needs to click on the link “click here” and the system displays the overview of the respective SMS notification

Note: The user can still send a test SMS without providing the values to the merge tags or generating the links for the standard URLs and the system shall prompt the below error as shown in the image.
