Nudge has four steps for sending Email communication:
Create Template:
Email templates can be created by using the drag-and-drop editor for sending the Nudges.
Template Gallery:
Template Gallery is used to view the existing templates and is categorized into “Standard” and “Your Design” categories. The created templates are displayed in the “Your Design” section with the option to “Preview”, “Edit”, “Duplicate” and “Delete”.
In a template gallery, the templates can be viewed in a list view or a Card view.
Create Nudge:
Create Nudge allows the users to specify the steps such as setup, recipients, design, and scheduling of the Nudges.
Users have three options in sharing the communication with customers I.e., One-Time Nudge, Recurring Nudge, and Real-Time Nudge.
One-time Nudge: The One-time Nudge can be scheduled to be sent immediately or later.
Recurring Nudge: Recurring Nudges functionality allows customers to automate repetitive/recurring communication tasks by scheduling nudges to be sent regularly.
Real-time Nudges: Real-time Nudge functionality is used to send instant and personalized communication to customers like OTP authentication, payment confirmations, etc.,
Existing Nudges:
The Existing Nudges View provides users with a comprehensive overview of all the Nudges.
Pre-requisite for Email
Users must give the following details to change the domain name during the email configuration.
1. Provide the domain name from where you want to send emails to your customers.
2. The Nudge Implementation team needs to create a sub-account in the SendGrid account and will share the CNAME, and hosting keys (hostname and values) that were generated in the Send Grid account with the client’s infra team, to maintain these values in their DNS CNAME records.
3. Once the Client’s Infra team completes the above step the Nudge implementation team will verify the DKIM completion in the Send Grid account.
4. The Nudge Admin will configure the email gateway as “Send Grid” by adding the API Key for the client in the Nudge Super admin.
